About Me!

Hello! I'm Bryndís aka Brybbinnn, a passionate programmer with a keen interest in robotics, web development and AI. I have a background in Computer Science from Reykjavik University. I am completing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science soon!

I am very conscientious and want a chance to prove myself. I got honors for academic excellence in primary school and a math award in high school.

I have also been very active socially in school. I was elected freshman representative and later on president of the Computer Science department student association, Tvíund.

My journey in Computer Science began with funnily enough in a probability course in high school where we used R. It sparked my interest and I knew I wanted to work in something math related. My favorite project in university has been making a rover in the course Cyber Physical Systems. I'm working on a final project with Helix, using AI to help medical staff through the application Saga, common in Iceland's healthcare. I'm also taking an Artificial Intelligence course, which has been both fun and educational. This course is proving invaluable for my final project, as it allows me to directly apply advanced concepts and techniques to enhance our solution.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I'm driven by the progression of technology. In my free time, I enjoy gaming, coding, and exercising. My passion for technology also extends to the automotive sector, particularly electric vehicles and their innovative software, reflecting my keen interest in how software shapes the future. These hobbies help me professionally too. Gaming improves my problem solving skills, coding as a hobby keeps my tech skills fresh and encourages continuous learning and experimentation with new technologies outside of work. Regular workouts contribute to a disciplined routine, enhancing my focus and discipline at work.

I'm always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in Computer Science. Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate on future projects!
